As of April 2008, Jo Anne had never put her face in water. Learning to swim was something she'd dreamt of, but nothing she had tried all her life worked, and her doubts were high. But something brought her to Miracle Swimming. After a week of class, she was floating on front and back, swimming across the pool in the shallow and playing near the wall in the deep. In June she took our Next Step class. We have photos of her standing on the bottom of the deep end and movies of her treading comfortably in the deep. In December, she took our 7-day freestyle class.
